Summer '06

To those who might actually visit my blog often lol, I apologize for not posting in about half a century. My summer has been pretty busy yet boring. For starters, I haven't gone to kickboxing for exactly 3 weeks now, but this is only because I workout 4 - 5 times a week and don't want to over-train or over-exhaust myself. For the bulk of my summer, to be exact 7 weeks, I've volunteered at my YMCA as a camp counselor. Man, let's calculate:

7 weeks x 5 days a week = 35 days volunteering
35 days x 8 hours a day = 280 hours

So I spent approximately, 280 hours with some of edmonton's youth. If you're still in school, and thinkin' about having sex, I'd think twice. Because after having seen what kids can do or say, I don't want kids until I'm dead. I've seen a rather large boy cry because of a mouse-sized girl, a 15 year old camper have problems with repsect, 8 year old girls who hit as hard as 16 year old guys and even 12 year old boys that hold a giant tantrum which could almost equate to and cause a high magnitude earthquake. If that's not a strong contraceptive then I don't know what is. Not to make my volunteering experience sound like shit or anything though, some kids were actual angels. You could tell the difference between the kids behaviors by comparing parents. So usually, even though I wouldn't really like some of the troubling kids, I'd still sympathize with them. Though all I have to show for nearly 300 hours of work is a keychain, whistle and pen, I'd still volunteer all over again if I had a chance.

If I wasn't volunteering or out with friends, I was usually either eating, watching tv or working out. Just like like any other teenager during summer break. Fuck, come to think, there's only a week left of summer and then I have to return to my FUCKHOLE of a school. Yes, I just called my school fuckhole because it is one.
